Cliona Hagan

Cliona is a country singer from Co.Tyrone Northern Ireland who has just recently graced the stages of country music in Ireland. Music has always been close to Cliona’s heart, having performed at The Grand Opera House Belfast for the B.B.C. Radio Ulster Christmas Spectacular at the age of 9, then on to perform 'Silent Night' On R.T. E.'S 'Late Late Toy Show' aged 12.

As the years past Cliona had her voice classically trained. Success was to follow again with performances on B.B.C. 'Hearts & Souls' T.V. show and her participation in the Welsh Opera (Excelsior Of Love). 2009 was an exciting year for Cliona as she got to the finals of R.T.E's 'All Ireland Talent Show' representing County Tyrone & Northern Ireland. However Country Music was in her heart and where she wanted to be. Since then she has kept her head in the books and music was never too far away! After getting A Levels, Cliona went on to study at Queens University achieving a Music Degree, then on to Edinburgh University where she qualified as a Secondary Music Teacher. Cliona loved teaching but performing was where she wanted to be.

After blasting onto the Irish country music scene less than eight months ago, Cliona has definitely left her unique stamp. With her latest singles, 'WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE SOMEDAY,' 'COWBOY YODEL SONG' and 'I NEED SOMEONE TO HOLD ME WHEN I CRY.' Two of the most respected ladies in the country music, Susan McCann and Philomena Begley, have both stated that, "Cliona is a breath of fresh air and has a refreshing approach to the current music scene." With these comments Cliona has teamed up with Musician & Singer Aidan Quinn who is currently managing Cliona and her band for her future ventures on stage. With her tremendous voice and stage prescence this not a show you want to miss!!! So be sure to keep an eye out for dates in a town close to you!!
